Laurie Collyer director of award-winning films ‘Nuyorican Dream’ and ‘Sherrybaby’ is joining FF ONE to share her experiences in the world of indie filmmaking. Laurie is currently in post-production on her new film ‘Sunlight Jr.’ starring Naomi Watts, Matt Dillon, and Norman Reedus. She will explain what goes into making an independent film from writing the screenplay, finding funding, directing your actors, and putting it all together in post and getting it distributed. Laurie is currently busy editing her latest feature film ‘Sunlight Jr.’ – we wish her luck in post and can’t wait for her to get to NOLA!
