KNOWN AS THE “LARGEST FREE FESTIVAL IN THE SOUTH”, FRENCH QUARTER FESTIVAL HAD A RECORD ATTENDANCE OF OVER 504,000 ATTENDEES OVER 4 DAYS IN APRIL 2013. IN AN EFFORT TO PROMOTE THE CULTURAL HERITAGE OF THE CITY OF NEW ORLEANS AND THE VIEUX CARRÉ, A NEW FILM SERIES THROUGH A PARTNERSHIP WITH TIMECODE:NOLA, WILL BE SCREENED AT THE LOUISIANA STATE MUSEUM’S OLD U.S. MINT. THESE INFORMATIVE FILMS WILL GIVE INSIGHT TO THE LOCAL CULTURE OF OUR UNIQUE AND EVER EVOLVING CITY.
TImecode:NOLA is proud to partner with French Quarter Fest to screen local films that celebrate New Orleans & Louisiana music, culture, heritage, and history for the first time in the festival’s 30 year history. All films will be screened at The US Mint and are free and open to the public.
